Massage Therapy

Introducing Amanda Krivograd Remedial Massage Therapist

Hi there, I'm Amanda, and I'm delighted to offer my services to you, your family and friends. We have created an incredibly patient-centred healing environment in our clinic, and are proud to invite you to experience this for yourself by receiving a well deserved massage at your earliest convenience.

Every session is customised to your individual needs on the day using a combination of techniques including Swedish (relaxation), Remedial (trigger point therapy, myofascial release therapy, sport massage, lymphatic drainage), nurturing Aromatherapy (lymphatic drainage, reflexology, pregnancy, post-natal) and Bach Flower Remedies (e.g. Rescue remedy). I also have specific training in intuitive bodywork, pregnancy and post-natal massage, massage for special needs and chronic conditions and have completed an Indian Head Massage course (incredibly stress relieving!)

Add to this the use of 100% pure plant essential oils (Aromatherapy), the individual prescription of Bach Flower essences and most importantly the nurturing influence of a qualified & dedicated practitioner.

Massage Therapy, as with many gifts came to me quite by accident. Whilst studying a Bachelor of Naturopathy which includes a Certificate in Massage I was struck by the power that touch and the therapist’s intention had on the patterns of stress imprinted in the body. This was a life-changing moment for me and my direction turned to manual therapies. I am continuing with my studies in Naturopathy as I am passionate about not only relieving the body of the physical and emotional symptoms of stress, injury or illness, but also educating people on strategies to improve their health through nutrition, lifestyle and alternatives to pharmaceuticals (where possible). I believe periodic massage reconnects you with your body and facilitates healing before stress patterns become more permanent. Of course a healthy mind and body can better cope with the journey through life.

I thrive on the challenge every person presents to me and would be delighted to assist you in bringing your body and your most important asset…… your health, back into balance.

Please feel free to call me with any queries you have about massage and your health.

Dr. Sascha Asks some important questions of interest to Caringbah South residents - Chiropractor Caringbah South Dr. Sascha Asks...

What's a side effect?
It may sound like a bonus; something extra, but chiropractors know it should more accurately called an "unintended effect," and "unwanted effect" or in some cases an "adverse effect." A pill can't come close to matching your body's ability to create and deliver the essential compounds it needs. That's when it's important to make sure your nervous system is working correctly—the purpose of chiropractic care!
What's the difference between maintenance, prevention and wellness?
Maintenance chiropractic care is an attempt to keep a dynamic, ever-changing and adapting organism (you) in a static relationship with your environment. Preventive chiropractic care is mostly about early detection. Wellness chiropractic care is an attempt to optimise our health and be all that you were designed to be.
